Simple and relaxing.

This certainly is a fun piece of music, especially when I actually take the time to try and visualize the "new world" you're creating for me. Thank you for the adventure, SirQ. You've done good.

Also, is it safe to assume you're heavily inspired by Waterflame?

Quebi responds:

Oh absolutely. And if you check my Youtube channel, I have the picture of the world I used to make this.

I did, in fact, enjoy.

Thank you very much, Piano Boy.

Bentendo64 responds:

thanks! :)

This sounds like theme music introducing the most impressive thing ever to the world and we should all be terrified at the sight of it... but not until after the song is over, that is.

It's sounds like you unlocked Hard Mode for a demon-possessed copy of Galaga.
I consider that to be amazing AND terrifying at the same time. Great job!

I'm not a fan of slow music, so this isn't something I would enjoy hearing on my playlist, but I always appreciate a track that an artist puts in the effort to keep from going stagnant (from sounding repetitive) at any point. It may not be my cup of tea, but, for little experience I've had with this listening to this type of music, I still consider it to be a fine example of Sludge and an interesting blend of genres.

nomubiku responds:

I appreciate that you took the time to write something and didn't just trash it because it's not your style. I also appreciate your open mind and willingness to look for something you could appreciate in something that's not your cup of tea. It is an unintentional mashup that just turned out that way as I put ideas together. I'm generally really happy with the music I make and I always hope that it will find it's way into the ears of someone who will feel excitement, happiness, meaning, and/or humor from it like I do. I also accept that it's not going to do the trick for everyone and that's totally fine.

Cheers!

I thought I was going to hate this the moment I saw "downer" as one of the tags, but this was actually quite pleasant. Beautiful, even.

Great job, Vex.

A little simplistic, repetitive even, compared to many of your other songs, and I'm assuming that's part of what you meant by this being unfinished. It's still a pretty good piece, however, and would work exceptionally well with lyrics. Still, if you ever decide to go back and spruce this up, I'm sure no one would mind that the finished track wasn't uploaded on Valentine's.

After listening to this a few more times, it's obvious that this battle simply isn't big enough. We need a party of eight or more battling this guy, three final forms, a true final boss after that who just shows up out of no where, and the music needs to have a choir singing in a dead language and repeating a particular word throughout the track, like the main villain's name. Imagine One Winged Angel, except "Sephiroth" is replaced with "Yonder Ho!."

A little too... dirty for my tastes. I think that's the word. I don't listen to a lot of Dubstep, but still, this isn't bad at all. Sounded like the music stopped abruptly at the end though.

Osher-Vaiman responds:

Yeah, newgrounds cut a little at the beginning and end for some reason, thanks for the review!
EDIT: the abrupt end was rendered like that, sorry, can't fix that, everytime I export audio, it happens. /:
