Half a year of waiting and we finally receive a silent loop of an adorable couple of animators, a belly rub dog, and a Star Fox poster of all things. I would have guessed it'd be one of Animal Crossing New Leaf, but SF is good, too. (Side Note - I miss the McBungle shorts.)

I can't think of anything constructive to type. This is already too beautiful to improve upon.

What a delightful birthday gift, Chutney. Thank you!

(For a moment, I honestly thought you forgot. I'm sorry.)

ChutneyGlaze responds:

i freaking forgot im sorry:(
Happy Birthday!👶👶👶👶👶

I'm not entirely sure what's going on. All I can gather is she(?) is trying to use his(?) prints to log on to the phone, but I don't think there was a particular reason provided, was there? Takes a picture by mistake, then just gives up immediately.

I'm surprised you even bothered at all. That company sounds sketchy as Hell.

zachdewd responds:

It's a general "Thing" in relationships that the female often looks at the boyfriends phone to see who's texting just to make sure he's not fooling around with anyone else.

I already knew he was a great character (and a responsible drinker), but he's also an amazing dancer? I don't know, Papa. You oughta be careful not to turn Rahul Titan into a Gary Stu. Also, "A beautiful performance" is the sort of description applicable to literally all of your animations.

Look at all that citrusy delicious potential and it's free for any and all animators to exploit. Even if no one does, this is entertaining all on its own, too.

Thank you, Grand Ass Wizard Chutney!

ChutneyGlaze responds:

;D you know it bebe

Oh no. I'm sure one will be another rep for Pokemon to further market that embarrassment The Pokemon Company rushed out last year in hopes of selling more cut cont... "DLC" at that exorbitant cost. THEN... it will be nothing but additional FE characters also suffering from Same Face Syndrome.

Obviously, the animation isn't worth five stars. I mean, you typed it yourself that it's an animatic. The voice acting, however, effectively delivers on emotion while still being delightfully silly in the process and the ending was fantastic. Thank you, Stan.

Stanpai responds:

Thank YOU! A lot of the time I just sit down and record stuff and have no visuals to put them with, so this time I went ahead and just did this simple visual presentation. I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for your comment/review!

I'd like to praise Captain Falcon's appearance in this. He is absolutely glorious. His VA (Belsheber, right?) is equally impressive.

I remember this idea being used a long, long time ago, but it only lasted a few episodes and revolved around Crono. This series is about as visually unappealing as that one was, but it's quick with its jokes, and there's certainly potential for the series to grow. Thank you for sharing your stuff with Newgrounds.

The quality of production is undeniable. It really is an impressive, professional-looking series, and I thank you for sharing it with Newgrounds. It's just that we're at episode five now and I've yet to see anything special or unique about it. Yeah, Ollie & Scoops definitely reminds me of cartoons from the nineties, except each episode feels like you're merely going through a checklist of what one might expect from an animated television series. A pale imitation trying to win me over with childhood nostalgia. I don't know. The show's beginning to bore me. Maybe O&S simply needs more time to really come into its own. I really hope so. I'm sorry.
