It feels more like a high seas adventure, rather than one out in space, but it's an impressive piece of music either way. Nearly half a year without a new song, but, man, it was well worth the wait.

Thank you for helping 2018 end on a high note, SirQ.
Happy New Year!

What a mess. You decided to just throw everything into this song, didn't you? It's catchy and quirky and it sounds enjoyably horrible or horribly enjoyable. I don't know. I like it, but part of me feels like I shouldn't. Please, don't be mad at me.

I absolutely love this and went looking for it on BC to buy the full version. It grabs my attention immediately and never lets go until the song is over.

Thank you very much, Simon.

It's not very ambitious (sounds more like a recreation, rather than a remix), and it lacks the "sound" of the beach heard in the original. Despite that, I still enjoy this quite a bit, and I appreciate any love for the game's soundtrack that I can find on the Audio Portal.

Thank you very much, Milanni.

When I heard this on Newgrounds Radio, I thought it was something based off of an NES game and clicked over to see where it was from. It's impressive just how convincing this original piece sounds. Fantastic job.

Simple and relaxing. I didn't care much for the ending though. It feels like the song should have been longer, but with a name like "Funny moment," perhaps that feeling was created intentionally. Either way, I think it's pretty darn good.

Thank you, A-001.

I feel neither relaxed, nor mellow, but, rather, a little unnerved and overwhelmed. It's the kind of music I would expect to hear while exploring a location that one might view as spirital or otherworldly. Imagine walking through the ruins of a long-forgotten city. You're the only one there, yet it feels like you're surrounded by others who don't even acknowledge your presence.

Bertn1991 responds:

I think you described the song perfectly. I think above all it's meant to be unnerving, but also gentle. I don't know if you saw the animation this was in, but that description isn't TOO far off.

All the thank yous :)

Considering how much personality you like to cram into each of your characters, there would be no way to properly compose a one-size-fits-all theme to share among them. Your creativity is both a blessing and a curse, Bertn.

Bertn1991 responds:

Thank you very much, my person. That means a substantial amount. To have every boss have a unique theme is a tall order, but it surprisingly is making things easier for me. So far I have three themes finished, but PS1-era RPG's had upwards of fifty bosses. It'd probably take years to do something like that, so I've settled on having 18 unique main bad guys to thwart on your adventure. You know, if the game was real. Someday...

Thanks again!

I completely agree with your comments. This is definitely a strong improvement over your previous songs. It's kinda impressive. Great job.

I'm sure a NG musician could provide you with detailed criticism, but my only advice right now is to just polish your style.

Sounds like you remixed something off of an old Sega racing game, like OutRun, and gave it a cruise control feel. How can I not fall in love with that?

endKmusic responds:

Gotta listen to that soundtrack! :o
Thanks for the kind words Phro! <3
Glad you dig it eventhough it's not fast-paced. ^_^
