Zach recently quit smoking and has been a miserable, grumpy prick at work for about a week now. I showed him this video and after laughing his ass off, he finally went back to his ol' happy self again. You, Chutney, have somehow managed to cure him of his withdrawal effects with a single animation. How?

ChutneyGlaze responds:

Ha ha it is very simple my friend...

Cocaine!

And just like in real life, I maintained a naive hope up until the end that somebody who come back to return the favor. Nobody ever does that though. Nobody, but that teeniest, tiniest bit of hope always lingers until the very last second.

This is a sad, yet charming animation.
Thank you.

Sijbren responds:

You're welcome :)

Do the Mario!

It's neat to see the date changing on the single day calendar, yet the time on the clock remains the same. Hopefully, Tops will have enough in ill-gotten winnings to replace it.

ChutneyGlaze responds:

Good eye mate waiting for someone to catch that! Its funny because Tops in real life doesn't know about newgrounds but newgrounds knows tops!

Not an especially good animation. It feels like an e-card from the early '00s. Still, I love the idea of you going above and beyond to fulfill an otherwise simple art request. Stuff like that one almost always put a smile on my face.

Dopey-Demon responds:

I know I'm very far from making anything grand. But it's very encourage to hear that someone knows about the extra work I put into these.

Thank you.

Wow. I see nothing from you for six months and, all of a sudden, you decide to plop this long-ass video on us... and it's a great video, at that! Usually, I get bored and stop watching after about ten minutes, because, most of the time, a lengthy video on Newgrounds is the result of slow, awful pacing.

Now, I can't honestly say I love the art style of stick limbs and simple, rounded bodies, but considering how long it took to finish this, it was probably a wise decision on your part. Plus, the change in style doesn't take anything away from the story you're telling. In fact, my only real issue is with seeing the subscribe button being washed away along with the guy. For such a grim and surreal video, even that bit of levity seemed inappropriate and took away some of the seriousness that is, otherwise, consistent throughout the film.

Also, I'm pretty sure I understand what's going on, regardless of the language barrier, but I still wish there were subtitles for what was being said.

I'm happy to see you're still animating, DiMaze.
I hope you're doing well.

Thank you.

OblitusCS responds:

Hey man!!! good to hear from you too. You are right, maybe the subscribe pillow was out of place, but to be honest, I didnt give it much thought, specially because it was just a second, but I get your point. Haha don't worry about the language barrier, there is no language at all actually, except for some english words the rest is just made up words. The idea was to make it seem like its a foreign world. Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts and I'm really happy you where able to watch it all, thanks for your time brother. The next one will be shorter, I promise.
Be well

Wow! So, from out of nowhere, Duongster and his big-headed dog return in hopes of dominating the animation jams again with a brand new, high-quality submission.

You always do an amazing job in such a short amount of time, and the music was just as impressive.

antdung responds:

Big Head Dog can't catch a break huh

I appreciate your kind words, man. I always have a lot of free time when these jams are going on, so I pour everything I got into them. It's the only way I can get myself to animate X_X
