She's the one most eager to fight, but is also the least powerful character in the air. Go figure. Even without the internet to tell me, it doesn't take long to realize how ineffective she is in battle. Leveling up Bleu or Adam might be a major hassle, but the both of them can eventually become some of the strongest fighters on your team. She never really shines and isn't worth the hassle to maintain just for the convenience of flight. It would be a different matter if she and Balbaroy had some sort of special team attack, but using up two slots on your party just so they could both deal lackluster damage and not even manage to 2v1 most enemies without taking a hit or two? Bleh. Recruit Kokichi and let him work with Balbaroy, instead.

Her overall look is fantastic. A lot of love was provided in this fan art that is seldom given to her during an actual playthrough of the game. No complaints, no suggestions, no nuthin'. If her portrait looked as good as this, I likely would have had her on my team (at least for a little while longer). As it currently is in-game, I spent years thinking Amon was a male.

Thanks again, Tisbore.

Is alright. Not much more to type about it.

Mewx responds:

Yeah I agree too.

As far as the chin goes, it fits well with the original art. Then again, the art for nearly all these characters includes a somewhat-to-very long and pointy chin. Diane either lacks a chest or hides it under her outfit, so no fault there. The outfit looks good and the hair is decent. I think the arms and legs are a little too thick and it's weird to see her legs spaced so far apart while aiming. Not only do women generally not spread their legs out like that (for obvious reasons), but it also gives the impression that her bow is too heavy to hold with standing up straight.

Nice to see her right after Zylo, but I also hope we get fan art of her sister Tao soon. Wendy would be fine, as well.

Tisbore responds:

Thanks for always commenting. As for her pose, she's using a long bow, and its a jrpg. So I used a kyudo archer reference. I thought it would be fitting.

Hot damn that's good!

With the previous drawing, it's understandable to stand the way he did, because Zylo has those metallic claw gloves and I would imagine he'd become accustomed to keeping his arms spaced away from his body to prevent cutting himself. It looks odd, but it makes sense. Here, none of that matters. He's geared for battle and is posed appropriately to do so. If you're wanting criticism, I'd suggest bending his knees a little more so that he looks ready to pounce rather than just hunching over like I do when I'm at work. It's an incredibly minor thing and I'm probably just overthinking it, so I saw no reason to not give a perfect score.

Beautiful work as always, Tisbore.

There's a cheat code that allows you to name all the characters. When my brother and I were children, we used that code to change everyone's name to something naughty. Vankar was renamed "DickNose" and it was the only reason why he was ever used in battle. He's not really bad, but there's better knights, like Earnest and Arthur, and better lance-wielders, like Guntz and Kokichi. You made him look much more impressive than he really is, Tisbore, which is impressive in its own right.

An early powerhouse that makes Guntz kinda unnecessary, unless you're new to the speed running scene. Pelle's best feature is his impressive chin. It's a great illustration, Tisbore. I like the expression on his face, because it just seems perfect for him, but you need to make the chin stronger.

Don't go trying to make me love this character, Tisbore. Jogurt doesn't deserve to be this cute and lovable, and you know it! He's an unfunny joke and his rings are worthless.

He clearly doesn't steer and fight too well with that lance, considering his damage is pretty weak compared to every other character using the same weapon, but he flies, so I guess it's a matter of weak, yet reliable damage over heavy hits that might never occur due to a unit's gross lack of mobility (poor Guntz). I typically use him, because I think his design is neat.

Fantastic work, as always, Tisbore. Thank you.

Love the ideas behind these two. I'm sure Jason would rather be home getting cared for by his mother, and is that Robbie being hunted down by Pyramid Head? Is this Konami's "Krazy Kart Racing" all over again?

FunkySquidd responds:

Thanks, man. Yea it is Robbie and Pyramid Head, lol. He wants a lucky rabbit's foot and the bigger the better he thinks

This is an excellent drawing of one of my favorite moments from the first time I played the game. If I ever saw such a thing hatch in front of me, I don't know whether I would be scared or amazed. As a drawing, he certainly looks adorable, but the thought of those giant eyes in real life looking up at me right after emerging from an egg is kind of unnerving.

Domingo is an amazing character to unlock, but he's also similar to Peter the Phoenix from the second game in that I think he's too powerful for his own good. Already promoted, high MP, Defense, and Health, flies, has Freeze and Attack. Using him kills a lot of the challenge, but, then again, that's why he is a hidden fighter.
