"And that marks the story about how I impulsively save every work on any device"

Constantly saving my work was the result of being too poor to use MS Word back when I was in college and the pirated software I was stuck using for assignments would sometimes turn all my progress into gibberish that could not be fixed. I also had a computer that was so worn out that it would overheat randomly, too. Save early, save often, and don't override your saves.

Several delightful images. Nothing particularly surprising from Cami aside from the Mario Hotel reference. Didn't think you'd be a fan of YTPs (unless you're the extremely rare fan of CD-i games). Even if it's in a bag, I would rather not touch Grizzco's Fuzzy Bread. Ugh. The image of Rei and Yu is a little disturbing, as well. A pair of ghosts telling me to join them is ominous.

ICam2k responds:

Oooof, I remember how my mom had that issue happen to her too whenever she asked me to help her out to arrange and fix certain documents (at least with the word) so I can see the frustation. Especially when my own laptop is well in its 10 year venture... were its battery has died out recently. Probably should've mentioned that in some of the posts during that time.

But let's not dwell on that and instead allow me to affirm that of course! I'm pretty sure I posted that Morshu pixel art I've made pretty long ago, so it's pretty much an open secret of sort. (can't say the same about the CD-i games, but I do know that I've played Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore during its release, it's an indie that aims to incorporate the wonderful CD-i cutscene greatness while actually providing good gameplay, a simple platformer but it clicks right enough, I have yet to touch on its hard mode)
Puyo Puyo 20th had these two pop in certain scenes where Yu specifically would invite the other parties (even poor Ringo since she's so afraid of ghosts, only because she thinks their prolonged presence is "illogical") included to become ghosts with them through "special" means, so I say the characterization presented here did come out from somewhere. heh

"don't expect anything else from this character because he does not make me happy anymore"

I... wait. What? How does...?
*attempting to think through a headache*
Oh! Is it because he looks like (or possibly is) a protogen? I saw something about those being divisive within furry communities so I could see the possibility of someone bothering you by being overly critical about his design. Maybe I'm overthinking that. Perhaps his backstory is just not interesting enough to make a story around at this time. I won't pry for a direct answer. I enjoy speculating. I would like a brief explanation of the name choice though. Doing a search for it only brings up information on D-size bras which I highly doubt have anything to do with this fellow and makes me question the sanity of my browser.

The smiling gif does fit in much better here than as a movie. Over the years, I've seen some post numerous tidbits of animation on the Movies Portal and never pick up on the possibility of using the Art Portal, instead. You certainly learn to utilize the site properly far more quickly. Thank you for that.

ToggleDragon responds:

name explanation: i asked one of my siblings to come up with names for him, and they typed out sytterro, zotr, botgest, and jade. i stitched all the names together and syzotgade is what came out. also, no, he is not a protogen; i don't really like furry original species (anymore)

While this is certainly enough to tire one's hugging arms for the day, there is still a strong need for a few (hundred) more Pearls to have available for hugging later. Pearl is clearly a very huggable individual and only offering dozens of them to hug will not be sufficient for the remainder of the hugging year. Heck, most of these will be scooped up and locked away by Marina (for nefarious hugging purposes) before the rest of us even have the chance to enter the Pearl Adoption Hug Center to adopt our very own huggably-soft Pearl(s). As such, there are only two options: rename this piece "Not enough Pearls" or get to work churning out more Pearls. A Pearlpalooza.

ICam2k responds:

Don't worry, I'll be back on restocking more Pearls by the time I'm alive again, but just letting you know that I'm one person managing all of this here. Making all the Pearls is indeed a grueling task and having Marina constantly swipe them all of them under my nose does not help matters. I'm trying my best here, but business just hasn't been steady since I started.

A tasty hazel-flavoured curro? A delicious gift indeed!

FunkySquidd responds:

Ahahaha thank you for always commenting. I always look forward to what you have to say <3 And wow thank you for featuring it in Takeover Tuesday!

Kind of amazing... especially the pants. Why do the pants specifically look so good? Do the tattoos mean anything in particular? More importantly, why are you depressed about painting? You make uniquely intriguing stuff.

Fabulous-fishstick42 responds:

school has me burnt out, it feels like everyone is so much better at everything than me.I just have the rest of this semester though then I'm finally done with my bfa. I'm defiantly going to take a year off before I go for my masters.
The tattoos are all queer signifiers :)

Maaaaaan, I just bought this. You better not be spoiling something with this excellent piece of fan art pertaining to a character I am currently unaware of outside of what I've seen in promotional stuff. If you are, I will wag my finger at you in anger... maybe. Wagging fingers is kind of exhausting now that I think about it. Nevermind. I'll just pretend I didn't stop to admire this work and act surprised when I meet a dissected, four-armed person in the game.

Seriously though, the first game was a lot of fun, especially the DLC with Donkey Kong. If you've put in this much effort to represent it with your fantastic art, then I'm guessing the sequel is even better than the original.

MorDoodles responds:

Not to worry, I was just playing with forms. If it somehow gonna end up as a spoiler I'm gonna be really surprised xd

I never played the first one tbh. I downloaded the demo for this and then had so much fun that I just bought it. I will probably try the first one after this one.

A strong desire to play with a new set of colours, eh? Understandable. I, too, used to do that with new boxes of crayons, markers, and pencils when I was a kid. I had to see what everything looked like on paper. You went with spirals and I either did zigzags or weirdly-shaped blobs with very little space between them. It was the sort of thing a lot of classmates did with the outside of their folders while waiting for the school day to end.

Thank you for sharing, Teo. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

TrandafirTeodora responds:

I did enjoy the rest of my day.
Thank you for your kind words.

Still haven't played the game so this goes above my head. Is there a particular reason why the mirror has conversations with the devil? The devil, by the way, just makes me think of the flamboyant Red Guy from Cow and Chicken and I am Weasel. Under your recommendation, I do have the game wishlisted. I will eventually play it. After that, remind me to come back to this and see if the added context helps me to appreciate this beyond simply admiring the devil's shapely butt cheeks.

ICam2k responds:

Not much other than the fact that it's just a inside joke of mine that pretends to have "world building" and I thought would be funny to add that in (and to make the background less boring).
Surely must be the inspiration since I've seen the official AntonBlast account reference this character several times, although I also think he has bits of Dr Robotnik from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog in terms of facial features like his "black void with yellow beads" eyes (also I love both of the shows as kid, even besides the more popular ones like the Eds and the PPG and the two awful kids with their Grim Reaper being held captive and that fraidy dog living in a lone house with a failed elderly couple and...).
I might, I might not but I might. heh

Outside of the Deep Cut references in the corner, I don't really spot any details. She does have a nice sarcastic grin. Most art I've seen of Marie does not have her smile at all, so the sight of it here is a little creepy to me. Oh, I noticed a picture of "Agent 2", so I guess that explains her look here. I know nothing of the context, but I like how that appeared when I decided to look up official artwork of her smiling to see if they exist. What does the 1 2 3 4 mean? Reading it just made me think of the song by Coolio and now I got "Sumpin' New" stuck in my head. Thanks. I hate it.

ICam2k responds:

Little you know about her crooked smile of death. You fool.
Jokes aside, the numbers are actually the codenames for the agents in New Squidbeak Splatoon once run by Captain Craig Cuttlefish. Kind of an agent team sent in to mantain order in Inkopolis from potential attacks (mostly from Octarians given that campaigns that feature them in). 1 is Callie, 2 is obviously Marie, 3 is the player inkling from S1 (to which is now replaced by the one from S3 as they've been promoted into a captain) and 4 is the one from S2.
Well, excuuuuse me for adding countdowns on scribbled papers!

Oh yeah! ...still need to play that DLC. I've been finding all sorts of excellent indie games that haven't garnered even half the attention PT has received so I've not found the time to revisit the tower. Someone's gotta show some love to the lesser-known titles, right?

Peppino's expression is perfect, but his slander towards goblins is undeserved. Even they are... well, okay, most are better than The Noise and should not be lumped in with that clown. More respect to Noisette and her patience with him, I suppose. Sharing this art with a friend and hoping it might get him away from Z1R racing for a little while. He enjoys it, but he also clearly needs a break from it.

Thank you as always, Cami. Go eat some pizza... wait. You posted this on the 14th day of the 3rd month. 3/14... 3.14. π Day. Pie day. Pizza Pie Day. Very clever of you. *slow clap*

ICam2k responds:

Curious about your thoughts on it. Not gonna spoil too much (if that even counts given that you play the same ame but with a different character) but the animations are always the best treat. These did the Noise justice in terms of personality and the moveset is super versatile besides the lack of some. Although I still think Peppino is just as fun purely because he is challenging.
I've been keeping tabs on other indies as well, there's that one game that I remember seeing called "Morsels" set to release on february... of this year, it's probably out now.
Knowing the regular ol' chef running the pizzeria in the middle of the hill (and slaughtering dozens of people inside the tower even for his own cause), I highly doubt he would give any kind of respect for anything that's less "human-like", even less for the guy who's other job is to make his life miserable.
"noise secretly loves noisette but doesnt want to face the responsibility of adulthood.""thats his character arc" from the (defunct) Pizza Tower Discord in 2021. Not sure if that fact is reduntant or not (probably just a joke by McPig), but maybe there's some merit that these two, despite how unfortunate it sounds, they're kind of meant each other. There are plenty of scenes and some sketched comics that showcase Noisette's character being a bit of an airhead and despite how minor they seem, Noise does tip her some extra cash besides the boss gates -wait no- not spoiling anything yet.
Hope that works out! I sure I went through something like that. heh
OH GOD. I swear, this was not intentional! ...then again, it is a perfect timing. Are pizzas pies? Are we pizza pieing?
