Well, that's adorably menacing.
Well, that's adorably menacing.
Thank you!
Diane's the older sister of the two (I think she's the oldest of all three), but your depiction of Tao definitely looks more like an adult and seems far more confident than I would expect from a mage apprentice. Disregarding her backstory, however, the artwork here is nice and I didn't know an older, matured Tao was something I would greatly appreciate seeing. <3
Thank you, Tisbore, for continuing this series of drawings. Will the entire Shining Force 2 roster get the same treatment when you're done with the first Force game (which is technically a sequel, as well)? I do believe I've seen you draw a few of the characters from that game already (Zynk being the favorite of the ones I've spotted so far).
Most drawings are just my interpretation, for fun.. lol. I plan to draw SF2, just wanna draw some other stuff first.. thanks for commenting!
I originally thought Khris was a deer girl and didn't realize she was just a poorly-drawn dog until I saw her redesign in the remake. I thought she was attractive, but that's partially because her design stood out more from the other characters who joined the party early on and partially because her introverted personality was refreshing from the other, braver characters you unlock. I do not like her in the remake, even with the maid outfit. I do, however, like this drawing. Never thought about what she'd look like from a front view, but now I know anyhow!
Thank you, Tisbore
Lol.. I thought she was a deer anthro too! I even drew her with deer type ears till I read about her race, I changed her ears back to elf like ears.. thank you!
Is alright. Not much more to type about it.
Yeah I agree too.
As far as the chin goes, it fits well with the original art. Then again, the art for nearly all these characters includes a somewhat-to-very long and pointy chin. Diane either lacks a chest or hides it under her outfit, so no fault there. The outfit looks good and the hair is decent. I think the arms and legs are a little too thick and it's weird to see her legs spaced so far apart while aiming. Not only do women generally not spread their legs out like that (for obvious reasons), but it also gives the impression that her bow is too heavy to hold with standing up straight.
Nice to see her right after Zylo, but I also hope we get fan art of her sister Tao soon. Wendy would be fine, as well.
Thanks for always commenting. As for her pose, she's using a long bow, and its a jrpg. So I used a kyudo archer reference. I thought it would be fitting.
Love the ideas behind these two. I'm sure Jason would rather be home getting cared for by his mother, and is that Robbie being hunted down by Pyramid Head? Is this Konami's "Krazy Kart Racing" all over again?
Thanks, man. Yea it is Robbie and Pyramid Head, lol. He wants a lucky rabbit's foot and the bigger the better he thinks
Is this you warming up for something big or just to pass the time?
Is Chrissy too peppy for Carmen?
Why is Hazel so uni-spicy right now?
Yes it's just me sketching for fun.
Carmen won't allow another pop-star bunny living on the same island as her so she's resorted to using threats.
Cause she drew with crayons on the wall and made fun of Coco and Monique so she's feeling devious
I saw the thumbnail and thought, "That looks kinda like Guntz." Then, I click on it, see Guntz (which already makes me super happy) AND thumbnails for a bunch of other Shining Force characters, including Adam! I shouldn't do this, but seeing these give me hope that Gong, Gort, Balbaroy, and Khris will also be drawn down the line.
I drew all those characters last year but I'm going through the list again so I'm definitely going to be drawing them. Thanks the comment and watch!
They do have a certain creepiness to them, but probably not an intended one. Of the bunch, the Wendigo is my favorite. Yours apparently prefers to huddle near a fire, despite a decent coat of fur to keep it warm. Gives it a more humanized impression which adds to the scare factor.
MS Paint for many people is difficult to use. It's archaic in comparison to newer, better programs, including other free ones, which I can't figure out for the life of me. It's probably why I will use if I do anything digital at all. I lost my stylus at some point though, so I ain't going digital until I can afford to buy a new one for my cheap tablet. I oughta show you one of my MSP doodles at some point.
Thanks for the comment. Good luck using MSPaint then. It's really not ideal. The other programs have more options but that doesn't mean they're that hard to learn. After a day of trying things out, you understand how they work. MSPaint is possible to make great things with but it's very primitive
The more beautiful something looks, the more judgmental it tends to be. With that belief, I'd imagine that one might go insane just from listening to anything that room had to tell him.
Yeah, it'd be suicide to go in there if you know what awaits inside. (and thanks!)
