I'm not a fan of slow music, so this isn't something I would enjoy hearing on my playlist, but I always appreciate a track that an artist puts in the effort to keep from going stagnant (from sounding repetitive) at any point. It may not be my cup of tea, but, for little experience I've had with this listening to this type of music, I still consider it to be a fine example of Sludge and an interesting blend of genres.

nomubiku responds:

I appreciate that you took the time to write something and didn't just trash it because it's not your style. I also appreciate your open mind and willingness to look for something you could appreciate in something that's not your cup of tea. It is an unintentional mashup that just turned out that way as I put ideas together. I'm generally really happy with the music I make and I always hope that it will find it's way into the ears of someone who will feel excitement, happiness, meaning, and/or humor from it like I do. I also accept that it's not going to do the trick for everyone and that's totally fine.

Cheers!

A little too... dirty for my tastes. I think that's the word. I don't listen to a lot of Dubstep, but still, this isn't bad at all. Sounded like the music stopped abruptly at the end though.

Osher-Vaiman responds:

Yeah, newgrounds cut a little at the beginning and end for some reason, thanks for the review!
EDIT: the abrupt end was rendered like that, sorry, can't fix that, everytime I export audio, it happens. /:

Not bad at all. It maintains that positive, quirky vibe I love so much about the original, but it doesn't stray far from its inspiration, does it? I wish you had done a little more with this to really make it your own.

jpingo responds:

Thanks For the Feedback!

I'd be lying if I told you I loved the entire album for its music. This is actually the only song I enjoy listening to. I do, however, believe your album does a fantastic job of telling your tale, so I went ahead and tossed in four dollars for a digital copy. After all, what good is a story, if I only have one part of it?

Thank you, Miss Keypat.

Keypat responds:

Thanks a bunch, this means a lot for me, and yes I do plan on releasing a second part, I already have some ideas im working on.
thanks again for supporting my work!

It loops well, and certainly would fit well into that old Konami classic. You definitely nailed the "retro" sound.

Keypat responds:

Thank you friend! I really appreciate your opinion :) I tried to do my best.

I have mixed feelings about hearing Charlie Chaplin's speech from "The Great Dictator" since it doesn't seem to fit very well, especially with a name like "Super Ultra Rocket Ride." Other than that, it's a fine piece of music.

TeraVex responds:

Thanks! As for the quote haha I just liked the speech so I put it in. My thought was that it was someone riding the rocket thought to put that speech on to watch it but yeah I can see how it doesn't make too much sense.

That was one of the most beautiful endings I've ever heard from a game I now wish existed.

CreoMusic responds:

Thank you - maybe one day, it will :)

Just heard this on the NG radio. It's the one remarkably great thing about Simon's Quest. I welcome any remix of that song, especially a decent one like yours. Thank you.

Keypat responds:

Thanks to you for listen my music! I'm SO glad you liked the remix. Regards!

That's actually kinda catchy. Thank you.

Preds responds:

Hehe, thanks!
