The outfits must be unusually heavy to move up and down that drastically. Aside from that nitpick, this is adorable. It's like the game Journey but with longer ears. What's not to love about that?

Exceptionally haha. He spawned in heavy tbh but he's not going to let that stop him from causing a ruckus! I loved journey though, what a delightful game

Nice angle, pose, and even the coloring (the colouring) works well enough. Maybe the left foot should also be pointing downward. Hurts my ankle looking at it. Should we worry about the clothes? I doubt those jeans would be reborn along with the rest of him if the boy were to burst into flames.

Maybe it's less about holding you back and more about giving you head pats and scritches. The curse of being fuzzy and cuddly. Also, one of those hands looks like it wants to eye-poke someone Three Stooges style.

Delightfully creepy piece. Surprised you uploaded it on January rather than October. Guess I got lucky checking it out so close to Halloween.

What's the inspiration for this? I can think of a few things, but easier to ask directly.

[Digital Monsters]

Renamon has probably received more love in the form of fanart than any other digimon. Guilmon does alright, too, but Renamon is THE Gardevoir of digimon.

Both have some minor issues, like Guilmon's scrawny legs for example, but this is something you've already improved upon and it's interesting to see that growth comparison in your talent.

For Sure lol. For me Renamon and Terriermon were always my two MVPs, loved Terriermon's attitude in dimon tamers!

Was there ever a follow-up to this? A little side story of exploration and discovery, perhaps?

The background itself is interesting. I certainly want to know a little more of that city. On the flip side, the design and color of the ship give it a cheap appearance. Thing looks like a floating chew toy.

[Fiery Ambition]

Braixen's depiction seems like it was taken from an old children's television cartoon, like one of those shows where it has its own commercial bumpers and ends with a moral lesson. Braixen could show up right before the credits and tell kids not to play with fire no matter how fun and exciting she makes it look.

[What does a star look like?]

In the gaming reality of Mario, I guess a star can look like a gold sticker given in grade school, a sun that brightens an island full of large-nosed fellows who belong in a Snowboard Kids game, or even as a crescent moon that floats around alone or in groups of three. Disregarding that, this just makes me think of DiC Mario and those cartoons were not always faithful to the source material, so it can be anything your heart desires... even a Wario! He's a star in his own right and Mario would do well to strive for that same level of stardom.

All of these are pretty solid theories, but I think the last one makes the most sense. Besides, Wario wears yellow and likes anything in that colour.

Much more expressive than the previous piece. Great mix of her assertive but also cute personality, too. She'd definitely be sporting a proud little smile on her face while thinking about how cool she must look while posing for this image.
